How to Update UniROM for PS1

UniROM is an excellent solution for original PlayStation consoles sporting the Parallel I/O port, allowing you to easily boot up imported and CD-R based backups without the need to swap discs or install a modchip. This works by reflashing a GameShark or similar cartridge with UniROM, which boots up as soon as you turn on your console with the cartridge plugged in. From there you can insert the disc you wish to play and boot it up using the on screen instructions. There’s been several awesome developments happening with UniROM, so I decided to grab my old cartridge and update it with the latest build currently available.
