Just when we thought things were going to settle down this week, Microsoft announces a massive acquisition of Bethesda Softworks, sending a shockwave through the video game industry. To top it off we did get our promised second wave of new PS5 pre-orders, but depending on where you live and where you order from, you may be stuck ordering a disc console. It might not even arrive on launch day! Aside from that, we have disappointing news about the PS5 Spider-Man remaster, along with some patents and rumors. Perhaps next week will be better for the world of PlayStation? One can only hope. But for now? We refresh our screens tirelessly on the off chance someone has cancelled their PS5 order.
