After the teardown of the PlayStation 5 we now know how to install expandable storage and the sizes of the NVMe that are compatible. Today Western Digital released marketing that mentions PS5 compatibility for their newest high speed NVMe drive. More should follow making a competitive market working to hopefully drive prices down over the next year or so.
