The PlayStation 4 has certain firmware versions for homebrew you might want to update to, or your ps4 just does not connect to the internet, so you have to update manually.
The procedure for this luckily is very easy! Follow the video to see how to update the firmware!
You just need a USB stick with a minimum of 1GB of free space!
