This mostly focused Nintendo episode comes at a time where it seems the company has been on an absolute warpath of issuing takedowns or cease and desists. After seeing countless SX OS resellers being sued, as well as the Team Xecuter arrests, the public is now taking notice with a massive uptick in activity. Starting with The Big House’s online tournament being stopped, to a Splatoon 2 tournament barred from being livestreamed, soundtracks being blocked, and even Joy-Con shells in memory of the late Etika being taken down.
