The Mandalorian Season 2 has reached its penultimate episode, and in it, Din Djarin and the gang are working together to rescue The Child (a.k.a Grogu a.k.a. Baby Yoda) from the clutches of the Empire and Moff Gideon. With new and classic Star Wars heroes like Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Cara Dune and Mayfeld on his side, will Mando stand a chance against the Imperial Remnant? Also, with Boba Fett’s ship Slave I back in play and the Razor Crest currently occupying a hole in the ground, is it possible that The Mandalorian would eventually pilot Slave I at the conclusion of The Mandalorian Season 2? Join IGN’s Max Scoville as he breaks it all down in this week’s Star Wars Canon Fodder. This is the way.

The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer promised so much action, but when we finally saw the scenes that never showed up in The Mandalorian Season2 trailer, it was quickly very obvious that The Mandalorian Season 2 would be a surprise to be sure but a welcome one. Mando and Boba Fett are doing everything they can ro rescue The Child (a.k.a. The Child a.k.a. Baby Yoda) from what’s left of the Empire lurking out beyond the Outer Rim Territories. And now with Lucasfilm’s announcement of new shows like Rangers of the New Republic and Ahsoka (starring Rosario Dawson as the Jedi Ahsoka Tano), it’s possible that the storylines in The Mandalorian Season 2 could easily spread to other shows.

But what about Slave I? Fans were excited to see Slave I appear in The Mandalorian Season 2, and with the descruction of the Raxzor Crest, is it possible that Din Djarin could eventually pilot the legendary spacecraft? Only time will tell. Meantime The Mandalorian Season 2 is running around with Bill Burr, fennec shand and Boba Fett, so at the moment Slave I is their ride around the galaxy. Will the ship end up in Din Djarin’s possession? Only time will tell at the conclusion of The Mandalorian Season 2.
