Nintendo Makes A BIG Studio Acquisition And Sony Starts To Officially Discontinue PS4s

Nintendo doesn’t usually buy video game studios opting to instead contract franchises and games out to different developers instead. Yesterday however it was announced that Nintendo had purchased Next Level Games making it the first big studio acquisition for Nintendo since Monolith Soft in 2007. With PS5 supply issues and the struggle to keep up with current demand for their newest console, Sony is starting to discontinue different PS4 consoles in order to free up manufacturing to create more PS5s for Japan.
