Due to a recent update in 2021, PS Vita and PSTV consoles have not been able to access the PlayStation Network Store or play online using PSN, even with version spoofing enabled. Attempting to do so will produce the dreaded NW-8942-3 error. Thanks to iTLS-Enso this problem is remedied by adding TLS v1.2 and the appropriate SSL certificates needed to get back online. This fix is incredibly simple, easy, and necessary now for anyone using a modified Vita console on a lower firmware.
This does require a modified PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, or Vita TV console to follow along with, as well as the basic understanding of how to use it. Additionally this also requires the console to be on firmware 3.60 or 3.65 with Ensō installed and enabled. Ensō is a requirement for iTLS-Enso to work properly, as having the console modified from coldboot is necessary for the changes to apply on boot.
