PS3 4.89 and PS Vita 3.74 firmwares released on May 10, 2022 and seem to offer something more than just a standard “stability” update this time around. While the PS3 tools get updated to support the latest firmware, the Vita has hardly had any downtime since h-encore² seems to be completely unpatched and working on this new firmware update. For anyone interested in console modding, this video serves as an announcement and roadmap over what to do for both fully updated and already modified consoles.
