The kidnapping of Mark Hammond’s son leads him on a journey through London’s criminal underworld as he does jobs for the kidnapper, crime lord Charlie Jolson, in order to clear himself of his wife’s murder. Meanwhile, DCI Frank Carter searches through the empire for answers.

Drive through over 40 square kilometres of central London, realistically recreated. Explore London as a tourist, black cab driver or minicab driver. Features Two plot threads – play as victim and cop to get both sides of the story. Features over 60 minutes of cutscenes.

Trivia
It seems a bit contradictory, the fact that that Charlie Jolson’s men were attempting to kill Mark Hammond as he tried to get into the warehouse. When Charlie required him for his plan. For example, if one of his men were to kill Mark Hammond as he entered the warehouse Charlie Jolson’s plan would not work. It is however possible that Charlie Jolson just did not inform his men about his plan but this seems unlikely.

In the demo version of The Getaway, a red Jaguar was the car that Mark Hammond was to chase. Towards the end of production, Jaguar pulled out of The Getaway and therefore Team Soho replaced the Jaguar with a red Rover 75.

Katie Ellwood, the writer of The Getaway, had a cameo in this mission as Mark’s wife Suzie.

Many people think that they have to drive as fast as they can to keep up with the gang car, but it might be a mistake. Most of the time, you will crash your car, you will have to change for another one and you will lose your enemies. Instead, try to slow down and you will notice that they do the same, making it so much easier to chase them.
