The kidnapping of Mark Hammond’s son leads him on a journey through London’s criminal underworld as he does jobs for the kidnapper, crime lord Charlie Jolson, in order to clear himself of his wife’s murder. Meanwhile, DCI Frank Carter searches through the empire for answers.

This is the last mission in the game where you do any driving.
It is not possible to arrest Jake during this mission. Even if Jake is really low on health, at no point are you able to get near him and grab a hold of him. Even if you are stood next to Jake and attempt to grab him, the game will not allow you to do so. This is further backed up in the end cutscene from Aboard the Sol Vita, when Frank mentions that “We don’t have to worry about psycho Jake anymore!”, confirming that he killed him.
Assuming that Jake can be arrested in this mission, ultimately he would die anyway. This is because he has to be arrested on board the Sol Vita, and seen as the ship explodes shortly afterwards, Jake would still be trapped on board the ship and unable to move. This means he would die in the explosion anyway.
This mission is extremely hard to do without resting. Even in other difficult and long missions, this mission proves to be the most difficult if you are playing without the use of the rest feature.
It’s difficult to know exactly in terms of timing whether or not this occurs at the same time as Aboard the Sol Vita. Frank arrives at the ship prior to Mark, Yasmin and the other gangs. It is believed that when Frank chases Jake to the top of the ship, that during this time, the gang shootout below is taking place and Mark is going down into the cargo hold to kill Harry. If Jake has enough health to return to the lower deck of the ship, it occurs after Mark has already taken care of the gangsters on deck.
Most of the time, Jake will retreat to the lower deck, at the far end of the boat. It would be a good idea to pick up a shotgun before you engage in the final shootout with him, but it won’t be as easy as it was with Sparky and Big Walter. These ones were coming close to you, but not only Jake will stay back, but he will also keep shooting at you the whole time. So, you will have to be quick if you want to kill him with the shotgun. But if you’re able to use this weapon, you will kill him much faster than with a pistol, as he can barely take two or three shots before dying.
