This week in retro gaming, we saw the reveal of the highly anticipated Retroid Pocket 4 & 4 Pro and it looks like a lot of people are going to be happy with the boost in power they offer over the Pocket 3 models.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX HD; a fan-made PC port of the Game Boy title was released for download. It features widescreen support, four item slots, upgraded lighting effects and even allows you to zoom all the way out to see the entirety of Koholint Island!
We also got the news that E3 has officially been permanently cancelled. It’s popularity has been declining recently due to a number of reasons but I can’t help but be a little bit sad considering the memories I have of watching all of the game announcements and showcases featured at the event.
