Unlock More Video & Audio Formats on the PS3 with Movian!

Movian, now called Movian M7 and before that Showtime Media Center, is a homebrew media player available across multiple devices but has a special home on the PS3. Not only has it been known on the PS3 for well over a decade, but continued support and development on it made me want to highlight this homebrew application in a dedicated video for those who might not know about it. Although the PS3 isn’t the media center powerhouse it once was, many people still enjoy the media playback capabilities it has, and Movian expands upon those by allowing additional video and audio formats to be played. It also features local and internet based streaming options, subtitle support, multiple audio track support, and an infinite amount of settings to tweak your playback experience to your own perfection.

This video assumes you already own a console modified with CFW or PS3HEN. It is also assumed the viewer has a basic understanding of how to navigate their console.
