This week in retro gaming, Nintendo have finally announced the fact that they’re stopping support for the Wii U and 3DS online features. This means that after April 2024, you won’t be able to play online across any game for either system and you won’t be able to access the eShop either. A massive blow for game preservation and resulting in many games losing a part of their core experience.
A Dance Dance Revolution mini arcade cabinet has been revealed and it’s absolutely tiny! You use your fingers to operate the device with the attached mini dance mats but you can also attach a full sized mat and plug it into a TV for a more authentic arcade experience too.
LEGO and Nintendo have also given us a first look at their next collaboration which is focused on Animal Crossing sets. This is particularly exciting for those of us who became a bit obsessed with Animal Crossing New Horizons a few years back and I can’t wait to see more!
