This week in retro gaming, we finally saw the release of Mario Party 3 on the Nintendo Switch, meaning that all three of the Mario Party games originally released on the N64 are now playable on modern hardware.

ANBERNIC have revealed a new handheld device which will appeal to any fans of retro SEGA consoles. It’s inspired by the design of the Mega Drive/Genesis six-button controller and would be perfect for revisiting some of those classic SEGA titles.

Finally, AYANEO have confirmed that the leaks surrounding the rumoured Flip DS handheld are true. This device is pretty exciting because it would be the first emulator aimed at specifically replicating dual screen systems like the Nintendo DS, 3DS and maybe even Wii U. We’re still waiting on more information regarding specs and price though.
