The DeckHD is an upgraded screen intended to serve as a drop-in replacement for the standard Steam Deck screen. It boasts a boosted 1920×1200 resolution, 20% more sRGB coverage, and has an anti-glare coating which is normally only reserved for the 512 GB model Steam Deck. At $99 USD the DeckHD includes the screen itself and most of the tools you would need to accomplish this installation, making this a great all-in-one upgrade kit. In this video I cover lead-up to it, unbox the kit, install the hardware, install the software, and give my final thoughts on the DeckHD while showing some before and after comparisons.
