The PowKiddy RGB10X is an impressive $40 handheld — excellent controls, nice bright screen, and compatibility with multiple custom firmwares. With a little tweaking it could be an excellent gift device, or just a starter handheld in general. However, it does cut a few corners to get to this price point, so let’s explore whether it’ll be a good fit for you.
