The RetroTink 4KCE is a new cost-effective version of the Amazing RetroTink 4K Pro. Using a smaller FPGA this new Tink has almost all the same features as its Pro variant. Depending on the player, you may not even realize features are missing. Over the next few weeks, I will showcase several videos on the RetroTink 4KCE paired with various systems. Today, we are starting with a DC Digital HW2 modded Dreamcast. For this video, the DC Digital is set to output in its direct video mode which pushes all scaling and deinterlacing duties over to the RT4KCE. No profiles are being used on the RT4KCE as a result. If you have a high quality VGA cable you can expect to see similar results with the included profiles!
